Visualising Victoria’s water

Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning

The Victorian State Government Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning required a series of conceptual data visualisations to make elements of the work it does more accessible to the Victorian public. These projects centred around visualisations of highlights from the Victorian Water Accounts, and visualisations of concepts relating to water quality in Victoria.

Originally a request for static infographics and data visualisations, the project evolved into an online immersive experience, allowing users to be led through narratives explaining key concepts while giving them the flexibility to interact with data and obtain detailed information if necessary.
